Coach transfer to Kraków airport
Kraków is our most frequent Polish destination. We bring the group straight to the terminal at John Paul II International, and collect them there on arrival when that is what is needed.
The airport and the road
The airport sits at Balice, about 11 km west of the centre of Kraków. It has a single passenger terminal, so a group is hard to lose there: we meet arrivals with a sign.
From Lviv the drive takes roughly 6 to 8 hours, from Kyiv 16 to 20. Both figures depend on the border, which is the one part of the journey nobody controls. We build in the slack and leave early enough that the group is at the airport in good time even when there is a queue at the crossing.
Worth knowing in advance
- Poland is in the Schengen area, so passports must be valid for at least three months beyond the planned return date.
- Minors need a separate set of documents, which we agree with you well before the departure date.
- Hold luggage travels in the bay; cabin bags stay with you in the saloon.
- Starlink runs for the whole journey, so online check-in can be done on board.
The coach
A Setra S 416 GT-HD with 57 passenger seats: Starlink Wi-Fi, 220 V sockets and USB at the seats, Webasto climate control, toilet, fridge, two screens. Ministry of Transport international licence since 2012, carrying passengers since 1998.
Common questions
How early do you get the group to the airport?
We aim for two hours before an international flight, and add more for large groups: check-in and security for fifty people take considerably longer than for a handful.
What happens if the return flight is delayed?
We track the flight and wait. That is part of the service, not a separate arrangement.
What does a transfer to Kraków cost?
