Coach transfer to Warsaw airport
Warsaw has two airports, and settling which one is the first thing to do. We drive to both, but they are different roads and different journey times.
Two airports, not one
Warsaw Chopin (WAW) is the main one, about 8 km south of the city centre, and takes most scheduled flights.
Modlin (WMI) lies roughly 40 km north of Warsaw and handles mostly low-cost carriers. Between them is close to an hour of driving in opposite directions, which is why we always ask for the airport code rather than the city name. Getting it wrong here costs the flight.
From Kyiv the drive is roughly 14 to 18 hours, from Lviv 8 to 10, border included.
Worth knowing in advance
- Give the airport code in your request, WAW or WMI. It is the most common mix-up on this route.
- Poland is in the Schengen area: passports must stay valid for at least three months past the return date.
- Minors need a separate set of documents, agreed with us in advance.
- Starlink runs throughout, so check-in can be done from the coach.
The coach
A Setra S 416 GT-HD with 57 passenger seats: Starlink Wi-Fi, 220 V sockets and USB at the seats, Webasto climate control, toilet, fridge, two screens. Ministry of Transport international licence since 2012, carrying passengers since 1998.

Yes, the outward and return legs do not have to mirror each other. Describe what you need in the request.
